You can make the connection easy for development using a DSN, which you can
setup with MyODBC (have a search on google), you can then use the DSN in
Dreamweaver with ASP. If your using PHP the connection is built into PHP
itself.
MySQL could handle a dating site no problem, its much more powerful than
Access, and can handle a really busy site.
