MySQL connection timeout - MySQL

Hi NG I'm Currently experiencing some problems with my database. When I try to connect to it, it returns this: Error Type: ADODB.Connection.1 (0x80004005) SQLState: S Native Error Code: 1203 [TCX][MyODBC]User * has already more than 'max_user_connections' active connections If I don't connect to my database, how long should I wait, until all open connections are closed due to Timeout? Regards /Kasper...

    Default MySQL connection timeout

    Hi NG

I'm Currently experiencing some problems with my database.

When I try to connect to it, it returns this:

    Error Type:
    ADODB.Connection.1 (0x80004005)
SQLState: S Native Error Code: 1203 [TCX][MyODBC]User * has already more
    than 'max_user_connections' active connections

If I don't connect to my database, how long should I wait, until all open
connections are closed due to Timeout?

    Regards

    /Kasper

If the connections are in constant use you will be waiting forever. If they
are totally idle then you'll have to wait however long the server is
configured to wait before timing-out an idle connection. The default is
    8hrs I believe.
