Navigate - specifying URLs to link to
I have created a signpost that I want to use to navigate to various web pages pointed to by the direction indicators on the signpost graphic, I discovered the 'Navigate' option but it seems to want to create its own web page whereas I want to specify the URL of an existing web page, am I missing the point, is there an easier way?
I have got round it by saving the signpost as a JPG file and then using another graphics program to set-up"mapped' areas which link to URL's I have specified, but I am sure there is an easier way!
Help please.

Re: Navigate - specifying URLs to link to
You must have missed something.
It¹s pretty simple: select the arm/arrow of your signpost (it helps if it
has a solid fill so the cursor doesn¹t have to aim for a path) and open the
Navigation panel. Name the link if you want to, and just below the Name
field you¹ll see Link. Type the entire link of the page you want to go to,
including the ³http://www² portion. Select a browser to preview the page in.
Then go to File>Publish as HTML.
FreeHand will blink a couple times, and the links will pop into and out of
view before it¹s done. Then your browser (the one you selected in the
Navigation panel) will open with the FreeHand-generated HTML page. Click an
arm/arrow, and you¹ll be directed to that page on the Web.
