    Default Navigation bar wizard malfunction?

I have a web document with about 5 items in a Navigation bar that
Publisher 2000 generated. However, when I try to add a new page, the page
does not show up in the Navigation bar, although I have that option
checked. I suspect that it IS there, but is hidden at the bottom of the
bar beyond the last "bar". I can't seem to resize its length, only its
width. Also, when I deleted another page, its bar on the navigation bar
still remained, although the text corresponding to the old page
    disappeared.

    Any thoughts?
