Need file sharing software recommendations

I want to start downloading music from the Internet. Now, before
anyone starts the piracy arguments going, I intend to download only
music I already own. I have some LPs and cassette tapes I'd like to
transfer to CD.

Can anyone recommend software for doing this? I'm running Mac OS 9.1.

I've already tried LimeWire--couldn't figure it out. Too Windows for
me.

Whenever I find myself in a difficult situation, I ask myself "What
