need for updated security?
I heard on a radio talk show that Microsoft Windows 2003
needed to be updated w/security because otherwise, an
intruder could damage it. My question is do I have to
update my Windows XP 5.1 version bought in 2001?
Thanks

http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com/ (security patches usually
fall in the "critical update" category). Your system can be
configured to to it automatically. (It's still a good idea to check
the site from time to time, to get e.g. Service Packs).
