Need Forms Gui (like Microsoft Access) for MySQL - MySQL

Hi all, I used to use Microsoft Access to create databases, and simple interfaces to the databases. I'd love to do the same with MySQL using the LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) approach, but I'm scared off by the thought of having to type lots of code. Is there a "Microsoft Access" type product that will allow me to construct simple interfaces for my MySQL database? Thanks....

    Hi all,

I used to use Microsoft Access to create databases, and simple
    interfaces to the databases.

I'd love to do the same with MySQL using the LAMP (Linux, Apache,
MySQL, PHP) approach, but I'm scared off by the thought of having to
    type lots of code.

Is there a "Microsoft Access" type product that will allow me to

    Thanks.

    Well,

    1. You have to buy Microsoft Access, and
    2. I've read that you can't use Access to configure fields, tables, or
    database schema in MySQL

I thought you had it already

you said you need an application to create forms, not tables.
Knowing that my answer to your original post would be:
"How about 'phpmyadmin' or 'mysql administrator' to configure tables?"

Sadly I don't have access to Access anymore - hence the need for a
change. Need to create both forms and tables. I'll take a look at
phpmyadmin and mysql administrator for table configuration, thanks.
Still keen to find a replacement for Access to do the forms and
    interface. Any ideas?
