need help hiding some files in php page

I have a script that shows a file listing with dynamically created thumbnails:
[url]http://www.b143ftp.com/demo/[/url]
but how can I make it hide files/folders such as index.php and the images
folder, and if I use password/log in, the.htaccess file?
