    We used to use trasfer function for press curves. These are adjustments to screened areas to allow for dot gain. Now all of that is done through my RIP.

    Isaiah,

    That is good if you are ripping your own negs. But to let everyone else know, if you are sending to a printer they will uncheck that function and reconfigure your curves to match their presses.
