Default need help quick - doc size half ltr. needs to be ltr. size on pdf

    Hi,
I layout book interiors at half letter size, 5.5" W x 8.5" H in indesign. i have a job option from my printer setting default size to 8.5 x 11. worked great in cs1 premium. now i've upgraded to cs2 & when i export using usual job option, my pdfs come out 5.5 x 8.5 (like my orig doc size), but NOT the required 8.5 x 11 as specified by the job option. what do i do? please help! thanks so much!
