    Default Need help with embedding a quicktime (.mpeg) movie fileonto a web page

    I have read several other topics on here like this one, but I can't seem to
    find an answer to my problem on any of them. I'm hoping that someone can help
    me with this problem. :confused;

    I know u can play a movie online just by linking the .mpeg movie file from a
    web site to the movie file itself. But what I want to do is embed a movie file
    onto a web page and play it right on the page, not just by itself. If anyone
    knows how to do this, please reply to this topic. Any help would be appreciated.

    I know you can import the QT movie into Macromedia Flash and save it as an .swf
    file and then insert it in your page. You could for example build a very basic
    "viewer" that holds the movie and allows your visitors to control playback as
    well. Using load movie functions you would be able to access multiple movies
    within the player. I'm not sure if this helps but if you have Macromedia Flash
    you might want to play around with it.
