Need help with IP printing - Mac Applications & Software

I'm trying to print at Kinko's from my TiBook running 10.2.6 without success. I've exhausted all the simple possibilities and need help. Their printers are on an IP network with numbers like 10.22.35.115 and I'm connected to the internet through DHCP. The drivers ARE installed. If anyone can explain exactly how to get X to communicate with these printers or point me to a page I'd sure appreciate it. -- Gnarlie...

And they can't tell you? I haven't visited a Kinko's in many years, and
never with my Mac in tow -- but they used to be pretty Mac literate
    there.

Typing the printer's IP address into the "Print Center's" add printer function doesn't
work? What kind of errors are you getting? Does anyone at Kinko's have any insight
    into the problem?

I have tried to print several kinds of files including plain text and web
pages. I don't know what a postscript file is or a PPD.

I would be surprised if most of their printers don't support AppleTalk; have
you tried to look for printers that way? AppleTalk printers just show up in
the list, so you know they exist.

What list? Where? How to? I didn't know Appletalk exists in 10.2.6.

First you need to go to Network in System Preferences and turn on
AppleTalk, which is off by default.

I checked that before I posted, and couldn't find anything in Network.
However, my Mac at home isn't networked (yet! AirPort has been ordered),
so I don't have Ethernet enabled, and there was no AppleTalk tab. So I
guess step 1 is to enable Ethernet, if you haven't already!

I believe Ethernet is always enabled in OS X whether or not you're using
it, but to get to the AppleTalk tab you do have to Show: Built-in
    Ethernet first.
