    Default NetConnections Drop

Hello everyone. I'm finding that I have quite a few netconnections that get
dropped randomly and it doesn't matter if the client is running broadband or
dialup. I've tried changing the number of I/O threads server-side and I've
tried client-side buffering of the netstreams. I'm running a dual zeon flashcom
server resulting in low cpu utilization so I know its not the load causing
problems. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanx in advance.
    Regards. Joe

    Default Re: NetConnections Drop

Hello, I have the same problem. I have a 100% flash site where all clients stay
constantly connected to flashcom. For some reason some clients drop their
connection, without a certain reason (say high load). Some clues: - Clients
who connect through proxies (especially with http tunneling) may be dropped by
the proxy. - Some months ago we moved flashcom from linux to a windows server
to solve a different problem. Connection stability was much increased since
then (eg the proxy problem was reduced). - Sometimes after some change in
flashcom code, the problem gets better or worse, for no apparent reason.
