Network/Anti-virus messing with code?
Hey Folks.
I have stumbled into an intriguing problem with Contribute. I admin our
site from a Mac using DW/Contribute and have a bunch of users on the same
network using Contribute on both PC's and Macs. Those using Mac's are fine. But
the PC's are freaking out on the same 1 or 2 pages out of the whole site.
The homepage primarly gives them trouble. The page looks fine when
browsing in Cont. but when "edit page" is clicked what refreshes is craziness!
The header is repeated and stacked on itself, the page content is actually from
a totally differnet page on the site, and none of it is editable. I have tried
different connection keys, manual connections, reinstalls...etc.
This seems to only affect PC's inhouse. Computers and connections at
home seem fine, and as stated earlier, the same pages are fine on the Macs. I
brought it up with our IT guy thinking that poss. the anti-virus software is
hosing things...he didn't like the implication. Any ideas?
