    Default Re: network place password

    Hi Jon,

Create same user account with same password on both PCs.

    E.g.
username on both PCs should be "myuser" (without " ") ...
password should be "password" on both PCs

Try to connect from PC1 to PC2. If you get prompted for password type it in
    like this.
Under Username part type: PC2\myuser and enter password that you set for
    password.

I hope this helps you out with your problem...

thanks for the advice but, i'm actually trying to connect my mac to my
pc. my mac has a network address that me pc can see. when i try to
connect to that box, a dialog box comes up that says connecting to
that address. it then asks for a user name and password. i think i
need to reset that password. i've tried to reastablish this connection
but it always comes back to this box. any ideas?
    thanks again
