    Well, that one did. It only worked once. I still can't get the tables in, even turning off repeat header row. It's the weirdest thing. Every chapter of this book has tables and I'm struggling with it over and over again.

    I just wanted to share Marco's findings with everyone. There was a table style applied to the table. Once that style was deleted it imported (and copied/pasted) just fine. Go figure. I didn't even know that Word had table styles. So if anyone ever has long tables that overset a textbox rather than filling it and then oversetting, check for a table style in Word and delete it.
