Default New Sequences for Batch Processing

    Hey all,

I've got a quick question. I need more sequences for batch processing. There are things that I am able to do that aren't listed in the batch processing list. Does this mean that I have to write them in JS? Is there any way to add/create sequences? As an alternative, is there a place to download them?

    Thanks,

Some are included on your install CD - depending what version ...

Some custom made ones can be taken off Planetpdf.com ... some you can
build yourself with the menu options in Acrobat and some will have to be
    manually coded within Javascript ...

Ah, maybe I wasn't clear. The whole "new sequences" thing I have down. It's the PROCESSES that one would use to build a new sequence with that I want. For example, how would I go about adding "Reduce File Size..." to my sequence?

You need to create a new sequence - but you can then even miss out a
command and go straight for the OUTPUT OPTIONS ... here you can specify
    options via the PDF OPTIMISER.

This can be on OPEN files, SELECTED files or FOLDERS of files ..

    Give it a whirl ...

    Jon,

Now I have a really niave question for you, so please be kind. Is "PDF Optimizer" the same things as "Reduce File Size..." essentially? If so, I've been doing double work.. : )
