New User: Why does DW start underlining/changing textcolors?

Hello! I'm currently using a trial version of Dreamweaver, moving over from
GoLive, and I'm liking it. I have one issue: VERY often when I select text to
modify it, as soon as I begin typing, the new text is underlined, and often
changes from black to blue, sometimes even changes size! I've looked at all the
properties, and when the text is selected, all the settings are correct (say,
arial, black, 12 pt.)..then when I start typing, things change! It's pain to
have to go back after typing and remove the underline, change it back to black
etc...what am I not doing correctly here?:confused;

Sounds like you're actually creating a hyperlink. If you click toward the
end of the link, you may have to press the right arrow key to move outside
the anchor tag when you continue typing. If you're ever in doubt, just hop
into code view real quick and see what's up.
