New Version

Has anyone heard any rumors as to when the new version is coming out and
what new features it will have?

Hi,

I want to upgrade my current PHP 4.0.6 to the newest stable version. I am
running a cobalt Raq3. Can someone help me out. Is it possible to install an
upgrade package or do I have to compile it from scratch? Does anyone know
websites where I can take a look.

May be worth upgrading now, two reasons why:

1. If you are on version 9 or less still you may not be able to upgrade to
the new version. It may be cheaper to upgrade to MXa now and to upgrade
again to MX2004 or whatever it will be called rather than paying full price
for the next version.

2. It is likely that the new object manager will stay in the next version.
Best to start getting used to it now.

What version of FreeHand are you running?

The current version is 11.02 and you can find the Macromedia Product Updaters

Hmm I think Sw1108 means FH 12. Nobody knows when that will arrive except MM.
Considering it has been about a year and a half since FHMX was released a new
Ver will probably be out the begginning of 2005. Thats just my guess.
So don't look for it anytime soon..lol
