New Video Podcast on InDesign

I would like to let this group know about a new source of FREE information on InDesign.

InDesign Magazine and the InDesign Conference are presenting a series of free video podcasts that anyone can download after a simple signup.

The first podcast is by me, although others will be posting in the future. The technique demonstrated shows how using nested styles can change prices such as $4.99 into those formatted prices found in supermarket ads. (Most of the people hanging around in this forum, though, won't need to watch. They either know how to do it with nested styles or have created a script to do it using mental telepathy.)

We may know how to use InDesign and can obtain some plug-ins and scripts, Yet I was wishing for InDesign Podcasts and certainly Sandee your input is valuable as always

Do you know if the podcasts will be available through iTunes subscription? It's easier for me to subscribe there and just click for updates in iTunes than going through a variety of web interfaces.

I don't know if the podcasts will be up on iTunes.

I remember talking to Barry Anderson and telling him the exact same thing. I prefer iTunes myself.

I vaguely recall Barry saying that he might put the low-res version on iTunes. I'll send him an email asking about it.

But one of the good things about subscribing is that you also get to download the sample files that go with the exercise. For instance, in the first podcast, you can download the .indd file that contains the character styles that I show how to nest. It also contains the final nested styles that I demonstrate. I think that's a pretty good way to follow along.
