Newbie : Incrementing variable in a loop - PHP Development

Hi, I have a Mysql row with several similar fields such as PA1, PA2, PA3 ... [Within a while($tabBooks = mysql_fetch_array($id_result,MYSQL_ASSOC))] I would like to be able to loop through these fiels using a incrementing variable and deal with the data they contain. I thought I would be able to define the field on the fly, something like this $MyVar = "{$tabBooks[PA" . $i ."]}" ; But I get a p error P error: p error, expecting `']'' in /home/sites/site150/web/php/TEST.PHP3 on line 23 Any ideas ? TIA Tony...

    Default Newbie : Incrementing variable in a loop

    Hi,
    I have a Mysql row with several similar fields such as PA1, PA2, PA3 ...
    [Within a
    while($tabBooks = mysql_fetch_array($id_result,MYSQL_ASSOC))]

    I would like to be able to loop through these fiels using a incrementing
    variable and deal with the data they contain.

    I thought I would be able to define the field on the fly, something like
    this

    $MyVar = "{$tabBooks[PA" . $i ."]}" ;

    But I get a p error
    P error: p error, expecting `']'' in
    /home/sites/site150/web/php/TEST.PHP3 on line 23

    Any ideas ?
    TIA

    Tony
