    Default newbie: lost my Terminal application?

    Hi,

    I am new to the Mac OS (OS10.1.5). I could not find my Terminal program
    (where I get a command line shell). I thought it normally resides in
    Application->Utilities?

    It is possible that I have accidently deleted it. How best can I recover my
    Terminal program?

    Thanks,

    hong

    Sounds like you deleted it. 10.2.x, the terminal app is in
    Applications/Utilities , so I would assume it would be the same for 10.1

    I'm not sure if it works with the 10.1.x install CDs, but the utility,
    Pacifist, (see VersionTracker) will extract individual applications from
    install packages.
