    Default Newbie Needs Helpie

I just got a used ultra 1 with a 167 MHz processor, 64MB RAM, etc. Anyways,
I can't seem to figure out how to boot from a cd-rom to upgrade solaris to 9
rev. 4/03. Should it boot automatically? Do I have to change boot order or
something like that somehow? If I have to do something like that, please
give me extremely detailed instructions. Because, after all, I am a newbie.

Put the CD into the drive.
    Login as root and type
    # shutdown -y -g0 -i0
the system should close down and leave you with the "ok" prompt. Boot from
    the CD with...
    ok boot cdrom

You will end up in an interactive installation/upgrade program which should
    guide you through the process.

Get additional memory... ! think you might run into problems... during
    installation.
(I got it working via an upgrade install.)

But if you want .... to know how to install

    If Sun keyboard
then press: stop key and the "a" key
    case = ok>
    then type: boot cdrom
    Press enter to continu
    Wait and see
    Answer all the question asked.
    End of install

    If Using a tty
    press ctrl break
    to get ok prompt
    Then type: boot cdrom
    Same as above...

    And have fun
