Newbie Question regarding Illustrator CS
Ok I think I must be completely thick because I'm having a problem with Illustrator CS.
When I select multiple Illustrator files and hit enter, instead of opening Illustrator with 4 documents open, it opens 4 x Illustrator CS.
How do you make Illustrator just open a number of files within just one program?
Please please please help me out because I am a complete newbie to Illustrator,
Thanks in advance

Re: Newbie Question regarding Illustrator CS
Very Strange! I've never known it to be possible to open more than one
instance of Illustrator...even if you wanted to!

Re: Newbie Question regarding Illustrator CS
Does it still do this if you drag the four files to the illustrator icon?
What operating system are you using?

Re: Newbie Question regarding Illustrator CS
I just tried that with Windows XP and it opened one instance of Illustrator CS and the multiple selected files each as seperate doc windows.

Re: Newbie Question regarding Illustrator CS
I haven't tried dragging the icons into Illustrator, I'll give that a go instead.
A friend of mine also has Illustrator CS and he doesn't have this problem. When he selects more than one illustrator file and hits enter, Illustrator opens and then the files appear as seperate documents
Both of us are using Windows 2000.
