Default Newbie trying to add a jpg to exsisting page

Have been playing around trying to figure out how to add a new .jpg to a page
    on an exsisting website.
There are exsisting .jpgs on that page. When I add a new jpg (from my
computer) it goes up in the top left corner (no good).
If I delete an exsisting jpg on that page there is still a border with a small
box attached to the upper left of that border (Whats that called?... how can I
create a new one? Anyway if I leave that box hilited and copy/paste a .jpg I
get what I want. I just cant figure out haw to create a 'new' border like that.

Default Re: Newbie trying to add a jpg to exsisting page

Can you send a link to your page? It sounds like you may have some odd layout
code in there. Adding an image should be straightforward: click where you want
to add the image on your page and then choose Insert > Image > From My Computer.
