    Re: unsharp mask problems..

Have you tried to increase your monitor resolution as high as you can-I think your dialog is off screen somewhere. This should find it-you can drag it back then reset res. Also try moving your monitor orientations around - you might find that little bugger that way too.

    unsharp mask problems..

All I get is the little box that I can move around the the image. If I hit enter it executes the unsharp command and if I hit escape it ends the function but I do not get the dialog box that allows me to change the settings. I found in the forum another who had this problem, but the fix didn't work for me. I reset the palette locations but still no dialog box. I did see that there was some issue about dual monitor usage but I did not see any specifics. Photoshop is the whole reson I have dual monitors and this seems to be a problem. the last video card I used allowed me to extend the workspace over two monitors that is 1280x1024 would become 2560x1024...I like it that way but it was only a 32MB card. The new card is 128MB and allows two monitors but it does not act as one workspace but 2. Certain advantages to this.. you can use two different resolutions on the two different monitors and you can drag desktop items around to the other monitor and they will stay there; but I still have this unsharp mask problem. The unsharp mask works in image ready but not photoshop and it's a pain to switch to image ready for just that filter, but perhaps there is no choice.
So okay. Is there some fix out there? Is it just the issue of this dual monitor card or is it an issue in photoshop? I don't recall having the problem using the old card but then I didn't use it for dual monitor long before I got the new card. So, is there anyone out there who has the answer to this; I would appreciate the help.
