Could Photoshop be looking for a non-existant network printer (or drive)?

    Trouble opening Photoshop and Files

Ok here is the problem. It's Photoshop 6.0 & 7.0 on Windows 2000.

    1. Photoshop takes a long time to start up. But eventually does.

    2. Once it is started..Trying to open up any file and you see it read the file at the bottom left of the screen but then everything just stops. The file takes over a minute to open and that's any type of file regardless of size. Once the file opens, which doesn't actually work every time, Photoshop runs fine.

    3. A third thing to know is that we created a new user and logged back on. When we started up Photoshop with that new user everything worked fine.

Any ideas? Need any more info? Thanks.
