newsgroup forum access
I used to get onto the newsgroup forum through Netscape Mail. I no longer have
Netscape, is there any other way? I prefer email rather than having to visit
the Macromedia website.
Also what was the address to get into the different newgroup forums again?
Thanks in advance!

For email support try Direct-L
DIRECT-L@LISTSERV.UARK.EDU
Here's a web page for joining the list

Re: newsgroup forum access
Thanks for your reply JB but that doesnt look familiar to me.
it was something like dreamweaver.something.something
and it wasnt an email list. It was a forum like this except u check it in
Netscape mail software (like outlook) and you didnt need to login.

Re: newsgroup forum access
You've forgotten to say what you're using now, but if you have a news client
configured (e.g. Outlook Express) then go to
news://forums.macromedia.com
and subscribe to the groups you want.

automatically with MSIE.
However, there are lots of newsreaders out there, ranging from free on up
to ???
I'm using the Windows only XNews client. http://xnews.newsguy.com
Agent or Free Agent is another popular one. You should be able to Google or
go to your favorite shareware/freeware site and find others that you can
evaluate for your OS.
