If its that close, Don't expect being optimized of Intel Mac's. Will run on Roseta though. for those of us still on PowerPC's should be interesting.

Acrobat 8 will be optimized for Intel chips. It was mentioned in the same statement.
Here's a link. Note that the TidBITS article gets the date wrong: Chizen said "Fall of 2006" not 3rd quarter. Release will be in the 4th quarter.

Uh unless their Fiscal year begins in July, The third quarter would be the Fall of 2006.
If their Fiscal Year begins July 2006 should begin April of 2007
Business can start their fiscal Year either January first, or July First. But once they choose, its hard to change (for big business).

Adobe fiscal year begins in December. I'd look for Acrobat 8 somewhere in the October or November range.
