NFL database
I'm interested in building an NFL database that would include the following -
both past and present:
- weekly game stats
- schedules
- pointspread information
Any advice on where to get this data, or on storage/access to it would be
greatly appreciated.
Sincerely,
Craig

Re: NFL database
Craig:
I would try http://www.stats.com/football.asp or some similar sights. Stats
Inc is know in many leagues as the leader in statistical information, and would
probably be a good place to start although you'd have to buy the information,
it would be a good start. Thats a major project I wish you the best. Good
luck.

Re: NFL database
To clarify,
What I?m looking for is the best source for downloading NFL stats. I will then
use this info, along with my own game observations, to create power ratings for
each team.
I will also need stats from past seasons to test the effectiveness of the
power ratings that I?ve created (by paper and pencil).
Because I am new to writing queries and general database use, any advice on
how I should go about setting this thing up would be very helpful.
Thank you in advance,
Craig
