    What about 100005 (mountd)?

You can try showmount as well. And lsof -i -ac nfsd -c mountd

    I am an idiot

    names weren't resolving

the client mount command I added our doain name mount -F nfs
    server.domain.ca:/export/backups /test

(a nd added domain to the allowed clients in dfstab too)
