no cursor changes using flash embedded in director

Hi all,

I have a project that I'm working on in which I built an interface in flash and then embedded the flash object into director so I could control a few other things. When working in Flash, my interface objects had nice interactivity in that moving the mouse over a click-able object would automatically change the cursor to let the user know that they could click on that object.

As soon as I dropped this flash movie into Director, however, that functionality disappeared. Now the mouse icon either constantly stays as an arrow or it gets stuck as the pointing hand cursor as soon as the flash interface loads up in my Director movie. Is there any way to get my cursor interactivity back while still having this embedden in Director? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks all!

Hi,

You can use the getURL action to communicate with Director and use Lingo to
change the cursor. A downloadable sample that clearly describes this is
available here:

If you're using Director MX, it also comes with a built-in behavior that
obeys Flash movies cursor settings. Look it up in the behavior library.
