Default No PDF file was created because xxxx.doc does not exist

    Adobe Professional 6.01
    Windows XP
    Novell/Windows Network
    Compaq 2 Ghz, 2GB RAM
    I am: Help Desk Tech

User can't create PDF documents. She does a "Browse" to the network drive, selects multiple files from the window (it places them in the display successfully).

When she tries to create the PDF document, it errors with:

"No PDF file was created because xxxx.doc does not exist. Please remove it from the list and try again."

This isn't likely, since she browsed to the files. She can, however succesfully create one file at a time.

    What ya think?

This feature seems to work OK on my Windows NT machine (with Word 97 & AA6 "Pro" (no patch)); I converted three word docs to PDF & compiled them using the 'Create PDF from multiple files' feature.

Did it work when she removed the offending file? Is it possible there is something in this file that is causing Acrobat to choke?

It really doesn't matter which file. I'm going to pursue this at her desktop. The install seems to work fine on the machine next to hers, so it has to be a desktop issue. The only difference between the two is that she had 5.0 and was de-installed to install 6.0. the other was a new install. Thanks!
