No preview for Freehand MX eps file?

Hello,

In Freehand MX and now MXa, when I try to open a Freehand eps there is no preview.
There is a preview if the file is saved just as a document. It has worked in every version of FH until now...

Dual G4 - OS 10.2.6

How are you exporting or saving the EPS file? Where are you trying to see a
preview?

Do you mean a preview icon in the Open dialog or an EPS preview when you
place the file in a page layout program?

Judy,

I usually just save the file as an editable .eps file in the save window of FH (under Format).
I put a .eps on the end of the file name.
Then when I want to reopen the same file later, there is no preview of it...
I mean the preview icon in the Open dialog box.
