no ´send comments´ button in my commenting toolbar

There is no ´send comments´ button in my commenting toolbar.

I got a file.fdf for reviewing. After making notes I had to send back that file.
(3. After you have finished making your comments, click the "Send Comments" button on the Commenting toolbar to email your comments to me.)

Any ideas?

Yes, but I cannot click on it. It is just gray, not black.

Under the options menu in the Comments pane there is an Export Comments option. You can use this to export your comments to an fdf file which you can attach to an email and return to the sender.

The only reason I can think of offhand, why you can not do this by using Send Comments to review initiator is that you do not have an email client such as Outlook and are using somethig like Hotmail or some obscure email client like Pegasus(no offence meant to any Pegasus users!)...?

To use "Send Comments to review initiator" you must view the pdf file in a internet browser.

Under Options: ´Export selected comments´ is also not clickable - only ´Export comments to Word´

When I open the pdf file in an internet browser (IE 6.0) there is no ´Send comments´ button in the Commenting toolbar nor ´Send comments to review initiator´ in the file menu.

OK, here is the ´solution´.

The button was not available, because I used the same computer for the sender and the reviewer. Usually one sends the document to other people - for testing I just sent it to my other email address.

It works fine now.
