No sound on new install
I've got a Sound Blaster Live! 24-bit card, which Ubuntu doesn't seem to
recognize. I can play media files just fine, but nothing comes out.
There hasn't been *any* sound with this OS.
I just installed it a few minutes ago, and I am a Linux newbie, so much
would go over my head.
Thanks for any help or insights,
Ian

as I already had Fedora installed on this partition, it took out Fedora
and the boot loader with no problem. Who do I thank for this OS? :-)
