Noob question - Ubuntu

Hi, I've managed to get my Canon i550 to work via my Draytek router using Turboprint. (Yay, me!) I've d/led OpenOffice and that seems ok. But I'm stumped when it comes to adding fonts. I've found reference to ttf fonts being useable, and I've stacks of these, but I can't seem to find out how to add them. Can someone point me in the right direction? Or, better yet, tell me how to do it? DroG...

    Hi,
I've managed to get my Canon i550 to work via my Draytek router using
Turboprint. (Yay, me!) I've d/led OpenOffice and that seems ok. But I'm
stumped when it comes to adding fonts. I've found reference to ttf fonts
being useable, and I've stacks of these, but I can't seem to find out how to
    add them.

Can someone point me in the right direction? Or, better yet, tell me how to
    do it?

If you're using Ubuntu, and I assume you are since this is an Ubuntu
    newsgroup, go to
    http://getautomatix.com/wiki/index.php?title=Installation&Itemid=38 and
install Automatix2. It completely automates the installation of a
number of very useful things, like proprietary multimedia codecs,
various utilities, and of course, fonts. Couldn't be easier.
