Not sure if this is the right place...please help if possible
I am trying to create one little PDF of a brochure that is currently in Publisher and I have tried it on the web site free trial thing but that didn't work at all, it moved things around, etc.
So I have been trying for several hours to get my PageMaker 6.52, Distiller 4.0, etc. to work to create this one little PDF and it's not working. When I try to creat a PDF in PM using Distiller it just doesn't work though it says it's done and creates a little icon on the screen. When I try and open the new PDF though it comes up with a little message box after it says that it has created the PDF that says, "Can't find the file..." It also says, "Adobe Type Manager not found." What in the world does that mean? I have also tried to down load the PS printer drivers, and some other PDF drivers and nothing is working. Other than that I also have Acrobat Reader 5.0 but I am not sure that that program fits into this mix or not. I just need one PDf and it's seeming to be a huge hassle. I am sure I am doing something wrong but I don't know what it is. If ANYONE has any thoughts on this please share them with me. I need to get this done so

You can get the Postscript printer installer from herehttp://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?product=44&platform=Windows
You'll also need the Adobe PPD pack lower down on the same page. When the Postscript printer installer suggests the generic postscript printer don't OK that browse to where you unpacked the PPD set and select adist5.ppd.
