Quick hack: Make a tabview. Make it tabless, and maybe make it
borderless (you can do this easily in IB). Use the toolbar items to
switch which tab is visible. (selectTabViewItemAtIndex: does this)

Or, make a bunch of different views in IB and switch between them with
the toolbar items. This is pretty much what NSTabView is doing, anyway,
when it switches visible views. This would be a more 'kosher' cocoa
technique, and gives you the opportunity to do the window resizing as in
system preferences.

There's sample code that implements a preferences window on my web site
at

http://www.zathras.de/programming/cocoa_stuff.php

If that server doesn't work (we're in the middle of switching servers)
use http://witness.spawning.de/ instead of zathras.de.

This uses the approach mentioned by another poster of using a tabless
tab view.

Window content is completely up to you. Just rip the content view out
and replace it with another NSView. You can also have animated resizing.
