nText - Microsoft SQL / MS SQL Server

SQL Server 2000 I am trying to pull off a record from a table which has 2 ntext fields. How do I retireve all the information stored within these fields. Example code for query yzer would be great. Thanks for any help in advance Rocky...

    I am trying to pull off a record from a table which has 2 ntext fields. How do I retireve all the information stored within these fields. Example code for query yzer would be great.

    The amount that you can SELECT from an ntext column is controlled by the SET TEXTSIZE. So, you should be able to get the whole thing out in a SELECT statement.

    However, if you wanted to manage the data internally through variables, then you must take chunks from the data and store them in nchar variables.
