Numbered Pages

I have seen the light. I can create multiple paged documents in Acrobat 6.0 and print them out. My desire now is to have Acrobat number these pages when it prints or combines these. My ultimate goal is to create an Acrobat file, then convert it to TIFF so that a program that I use is able to import it. The tiff will be combined to create a single document using Acrobat 6.0.

So, does anyone know how to number the pages?
