Default numbers in cfchart

Greetings all.

I have created a chart that seems to work just fine. The bulleted numbers are
from the same query and represent the 4 values or bars in the chart. However,
as you can see in the output, the numbers cfchart is putting in the graphic
contain decimals. A request came from one of our analysts to "round" the
numbers beside the chart. Is it possible to dictate what numbers are put into
cfchart? http://63.91.143.44/jons_folder/samples/chart.gif

Any help is appreciated.

Default Re: numbers in cfchart

If you are using 7 you have two options, the first one most likely won't work,
but is easy enough to try.

1. Try changing the gridlines. (in your example I would try setting them to
31)

2. Set a theme and then modify the theme to disable decimals in the label.

ie. set <cfchart style="silver">

then modify c:\CFROOT\charting\styles\silver.xml file to look like this:

<yAxis scaleMin="0">
<titleStyle font="Arial-12-bold"/>
<dateTimeStyle majorUnit="Year" minorUnit="Year"/>
<labelFormat style="Pattern" pattern="##0"/>
</yAxis>

(the only part that really matters for you is the pattern part)

you can also create your own style and modify it to your liking.
