Object Oriented Web Design - ASP Components

Hi all, I am looking at using Jscript classes and COM objects written in Java to implement OOD on the web. I was wondering if anyone knows of any good resources to outline the best way to ultilize these technologies. We use IIS 5 on windows 2000. We currently use ASP scripts written in PerlScript with no use of OOD what-so-ever. I don't think this is the best way to do things....

Some excellent info about javascript is available at:

http://www.w3schools.com/

Click on the Learn JavaScript link there. Also, one comment
I'll add, is don't think of it as jscript. Think JavaScript. The
reason I say this, is because javascript is pretty much client
side, and I don't know where to find server side jScript... I
think most folks tend to use vbScript for server side scripting.

One other link:

http://www.javascriptkit.com/

One of those two links has an excellent class / object
tutorial. Maybe both of them.

If OOD is your target, just because you think it should be a target, you're
wrong :)

I'm programming ASP.NET pages, for more than a year, and slowly, I've
learned that some classes can be inherited. But for the most of the time,
internet design and OOD combinations are VERY difficult! Because if you do
too much 'inheriting' your site dies. So you must think about balancing
caching, creating a simple but scalable datalayer etc..
