Ok here is the error / bug / problem that I can reproduce at will.

I have a template that includes a library item. The library item has a
repeating region. I now create a page from the template and everything works as
normal. I then insert a library item specific to the page. A simple static html
bullet list.
The page will save fine and all works well. The repeating region works as
intended.

Now here comes the problem. If I update the bullet list and save that library
item it asks to update all of the pages. I click yes as I want this change to
happen. After all the pages are updated, I open them and the bullet list is
updated as requested.

However now my repeating region has none of its content and I can not edit it,
via code view or design view as I could before I updated the bullet list.
Furthermore If I go to save the file after making any changes to the content it
will ask me to save the file as a template instead of an html file. If I do a
save as... and save it as html saves and works fine.

Except that any future editing requires me to do a save as. The normal save
function keeps asking me to save the file as a template

Has anyone else encountered this problem? Or is there something wrong with
what I am doing?

Thanks for your help!
