odd files appearing - Macromedia Dreamweaver

dreamweaver creates these temp files when you preview in a browser. they should get deleted when dw shuts down - if you have any lying around they are safe to delete. joe "matt27" <webforumsusermacromedia.com> wrote in message news:bemdcq$br9$1forums.macromedia.com... > How come when I preview my pages I get these odd files in my root folder? So I should just delete those files, and it won't affect anything.

    Matt:

Those files could actually save your bacon in the event that you preview a
page and then inadvertantly delete it the page you just previewed. The temp
file will be the entire page waiting there to be resaved....
