Finally, I went to Acrobat Professional's preferences…
Preferences / Smoothing /
and I selected ON "Use CoolType (Recommended for laptop/LCD screens)",
I checked ON the "A" box. And the odd lines disappeared!
For the other strange "visual effects", I checked the Adobe Illustrator® file of my colleague. And I decided to make again some vectorial effects/shapes, and everything went well!
Thanks friends for sharing your advice.

I converted my placed EPS file in Illustrator to TIFF and the white lines disappeared on my
SAVE AS PDF file. Just ran in to this problem today. Found answer in the Illustrator formum.
