Office>Distiller>Quark>Distiller
I created PDF's from office xp pro (word & excel)for use in Quark 5.0 and then used Acrobat 5.0.0 distiller to creade PDF from Quark File. It was a 95 page document with about 1/3 containing the PDF's and the rest straight text. When I printed the Quark file to Distiller it would hang up on page 91 and abort the PDF with the message in the notebook log saying the failed command was "get". I deleted the content of page 91 and it worked, then I tried to place a new pdf from the excel file in page 91 and got the same error. I was able to work-around by adding a page to the PDF but not a satisfactory outcome and would like to solve this problem. Any advice would be appreciated

Why not import the word document in Quark 5.01 (make sure you get that updaet) then converting to pdf?

Re: Office>Distiller>Quark>Distiller
I cannot find a 5.01 update on the Adobe site. I'm about to go ahead and update to 6. On importing into quark, I'm working with word tables as well as excel files and cannot preserve the formatting going into quark. Distilling them to PDF's is the simplest way I've found to accomplish that task.

Re: Office>Distiller>Quark>Distiller
The Quark 5.01 update is not likely to be on Adobe's web site.
