Office2003
I have installed office 2003 on Vista 5308 and all went well but update does
not work file "ident" is not signed or that is what I am told. when updating
What is up
It is a full package that I purchased right from Microsoft. It installed on
XP pro x64 with no problem and updates fine.
any help.

I didn't have any issues here installing SP2 for Office 2003 here on Vista
5308. I am not sure, but someone reported that issues relating to Office not
installing Vista could be a corrupt NTFS file system. You also try running
the executable for SP2 as an Administrator, right click it, click "Run as
Administrator".

This is when I try to update with windows vista update.
Have tryed to update office with sp2 directly but it tells me wrong ver.
did not have this with Xp pro x64

Well, putting all your bets on Windows Update in Windows Vista, would
probably not be a good idea, I suggest going to
[url]http://www.microsoft.com/downloads[/url] and search for Office 2003 SP2, download
and install.
