That blog has been changed anyways... November has been removed. Most
likely still will be in November, but not "officially" yet.

While I have my feelings that Vista will be indeed quite a bit more secure,
I bet it will still have its fair share of security flaws. I guess all we
can do is wait until Vista goes out into the real-world to find that out.

The Windows Team probably already knows about that, similar to known issues
they say we won't see a fix to until Vista hits RC1, so those persons are
probably holding on to "dead code".

Where does it say "November" in that blog ?

    What I see is :

"We are targeting to make Windows Vista generally available in the second half of this year,
and the exact delivery date will ultimately be determined by the quality of the product."

Where did you read "November" ?

I see this site is saying "November", but that's not an official source of Vista info:

Blogs are NOT official, even blogs such as this written by Microsoft on the
    Microsoft server.
These blogs have been in error in the past and there is no guarantee it is
    correct now.
Show us on Microsoft.com for the official statement.
No where does Microsoft say these blogs are official but they have stated
they are not since the employees write these blogs without any oversight.
