Offline Temporary Tablespace - IBM DB2

I have a continuing problem with the temporary tablespace for a DB2 database. The tablespace goes offline. I created a new temporary tablespace and once it was online I removed the tablespace that was offline. Within a few minutes the new tablespace went offline as well. Default Re: Offline Temporary Tablespace

chkdsk / chkntfs to check for drive errors (io errors)
(any bad sectors?) (ts may be put in read only/offline mode if io errors
    were found; i think.)
Did you create the new temp ts on the same drive as the previous one?

db2dart to check the db's integrity
Depending on the db2 version you run, there is the INSPECT command that you
    can use.

security attributes of the dir/files (who can read write files)

look in the windows event viewer for io/bus errors, etc. (anything unusual?)

I have no idea what .tda files are for.
Anybody/software tampering with it? (antivirus, backup, ... ?)

    E:\DB2\NODE0000\SQL00001\SQLT0003.0\SQL00002.TDA.

(just ideas : crash/recovery phase, bufferpools, logs ?)

db2 support should handle this i guess. It's getting complicated...

    Thank you.

I couldn't find it under 'Database directories and files' in the doc.

Just wanted to thank you for the information you provided. It ended up
being a file problem. After running chkdsk, which did detect and
repaired errors, the problem went away.

    Thanks.
